The Product Manager charts the course, develops the vision, and implements the annual plans that will propel the company towards increased Sunglass and Accessories market share and greater brand recognition. Reporting directly to the GM, the person will be a strategic thinker with proven leadership experience, able to provide ultimate oversight and guidance to the sales team. Accountable for delivering measurable results that achieves and exceeds revenue and margin targets, this position will be capable of contributing meaningful insight to the sales functions.

Responsibilities
- Plan and direct staffing, on-boarding, training, performance evaluations and employee development to develop and control team.
- Achieve sales operational objectives; preparing and completing action plans; implementing customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
- Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions;
- Coach on floor sales team for better performance;
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts;
- Develop annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected sales volume and gross profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; monitoring cost, competition, supply, and demand;
- Sustain rapports with key suppliers by making periodic visits;
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential;
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations;
- Demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees;
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values;

Requirements

- Business degree or/and MBA preferred.
- 5 - 7 years minimum of experience in retail with proven track record, in luxury, perfumery, ready to wear or equivalent fields.
- Relevant product and industry knowledge.
- History of managing a large number of SKU's, market channels, and marketing activities.
- Proven ability to manage entire sales department (branch managers, sales consultants.)
- Data/statistical analytical abilities and able to interpret and capitalize on market data,
- Strong leadership skills, able to lead change, mentor, and motivate individuals,
- Able to work effectively with the scale and resources of a family held company,
- Experience with relevant software applications
