Job description / Role
Product Manager, Operating Tables/ MEDAP/Lights/Pendants
Position Objective:
The Product Manager is the owner of the product line and the one whom co-ordinates between distributors, end users and factories. The primary role of the product manager is on the push side of the MAQUET Middle East office to engage a distribution network and actively work with them to promote operating tables, MEDAP & Medical Furniture. Product Manager is fully responsible for the sales results of his/her product line within the region, which includes 16 countries in the Middle East.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage annual distributor meetings
- Prepare and execute yearly country action plans
- Prepare and execute yearly product plans
- Manage the price list
- Prepare monthly rolling order/sales forecasting
- Arrange trainings for distributors
- Update the market databank, product databank and distributor databank
Normal monthly to do
- Manage the distributors via Channel Management
- Work with internal reporting tools (COGNOS, MPulse, Travel Sheet)
Requirements
- Must be at least Graduate, Bio-Medical Engineer preferred but not essential
- Minimum 3 years experience within sales environment / Medical Devices Industry / Managing Distributors preferred within Middle East
- Must be able to build budget spreadsheets
- Must speak good English and have good communication skills.
- Must be able to confidently present products and solve problems.
- Microsoft Office skills should be excellent
- Willing to learn clinical aspects of the role
- Willing to travel extensively throughout Middle East and Europe
- Willing to relocate to Dubai
