Al Futtaim Honda is one of the UAE's most popular automotive brands and enjoys a presence here dating back to the 1970's when it was introduced by the Al-Futtaim family. Honda's presence in the market has grown considerably, aided of course by excellent products - a car for every occasion, motorcycles, marine motors and other power products to make lives easier. We are the sole distributor for all Honda products in the UAE and our nationwide network of showrooms cover the country to enable everybody to experience and enjoy the Honda range of products easily and conveniently.We are currently looking to recruit a Product Marketing Manager within our Honda operations. Reporting to the General Manager - Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for product life cycle planning, order planning, competition spec analysis, product training, market share analysis, market research and execution of product campaign on the showroom floor.
As Product Marketing Manager you will be the custodian of the products and its life cycle starting from its induction till the time it is phased out. Your role is to know the products thoroughly and impart the same to the sales executives. You will be responsible for preparing monthly order workings (Niguri) for Top management discussions and finalisation. This person also acts as the eyes and ears of the Top management in terms of competitive product offerings and promotion campaigns.
Your main duties within the role include the following:

Conducting VIVA (Value Index, Value Added Pricing Analysis)
Price positioning for current product range and deciding on future product positioning strategy
MEAC & JAMA Analysis and follow up actions on the Honda Brand
Order planning and maintain the right mix of Colour and Grade
Attend Honda Train the Trainer sessions for Honda products and implement the training plan for Sales Team
Product Life cycle planning - working with Honda principles to introduce FMC & MMC models as per market requirements
Market Research on buying patterns and execute plans accordingly
Support the Honda showrooms with the product specification and sales tools

The selected candidate will have the following experience and attributes;

You will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Administration. MBA preferred.

5 - 7 years experience in Product Marketing, preferably in the Automotive industry.
Strong Communication skills
Thorough and detailed planning ability
Strong Analytical skills with proven People Management Capabilities.
Proven people manager
Ability to be effective and deliver in a fast paced environment.
