Al-Futtaim Motors are the sole distributors for Toyota, Lexus and Hino brands in the UAE. Since the company's inception in 1955 it holds the pre-eminent position of being the largest distributor of automotive products and services in the UAE. We also hold the distinction of being one of the largest private conglomerates in the gulf region.

The HINO brand is represented in the UAE by Al Futtaim Motors since 1985. Hino Division strives to be the first choice provider of products and services to the road transport industry within the United Arab Emirates by providing outstanding quality in our range of products and services. We are the only recognised and established distributor in the UAE who can boast of offering a complete range of Light, Medium and Heavy duty trucks to suit all logistical requirements.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Marketing and Product Planning Manager to work from our Dubai based operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for correctly positioning the range of Hino and Toyota Forklift products within the U.A.E in terms of product specification, price and brand as well as life cycle costs in a manner that would maximise sales achievement, market share and customer satisfaction.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Deciding on all commercial vehicle and warehouse equipment product specifications, drive line configurations and pricing
• Designing and implementing promotional campaigns across the complete range of Hino trucks (light, medium and heavy trucks) as well as Toyota Forklift
• Developing and implementing value added products and services to enhance the value proposition of Hino and Toyota Forklift
• Designing and concluding product launches for all new model additions to the market
• Conducting market overview studies, sales forecasts and competitive value offer analysis
• Regular engaging with the press and media to ensure the desired level of exposure and appropriate positioning of the brands
• Facilitating all sales training and product knowledge training for sales staff.

To apply for this role you should have the following skills, experiences and qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in the truck market
• Technical / Engineering as well as Marketing Qualification
• Specialised in Commercial vehicles including Fire engines, Ambulances, Buses, Forklift and warehouse equipment industry
• Thorough knowledge of products, logistics and transport industry/competitive environment
• Ability to make sound and swift decisions
• Problem solving skills
