The RoleThe RoleProduct Merchandiser AED 15,000 to AED 20,000 for the right candidate This is a fantastic opportunity to join a funky and fast growing retailer with a very unique proposition. This is a young and dynamic team that is looking to increase its stores on a regional scale. As they prepare for this growth they need to bring in people that can create the processes to support expansion. As Product Merchandiser, you will be responsible for setting up the merchandising system, stock flow, stock allocation and create a delivery plan that is staggered for the stores. You will need to analyse the range, decide what should be stock holdings, what should be the acceptable back up/replenishment levels and then ensure all stores adhere to it. You will also need to develop a process to manage the core product range and then develop seasonal ranges and localised ranges. This role will involve a great deal of analysis. You will also be involved in sourcing products with the support of the Retail Manager. |
RequirementsRequirementsOur client is looking for someone who is passionate about their work, who loves to see the success happen at the retail floor level. They need someone who can go the extra mile in what will be a very demanding and pressured environment as they expand. Ideally you will have at least 3 years experience as a merchandiser and have a strong understanding of stock management. You must have excellent spoken English, near perfect computer skills and a natural ability to multi task. You will be joining a small team that has a very hands-on approach to their work. You must be able to demonstrate how you have been able to take the initiative in their work and lead a project. All candidates must have a driving license as you will be expected to visit the stores on a regular basis. |
