Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Product Planning & Pricing Manager is the gatekeeper for the short term & long-term product related items. His role is to ensure that dealers maintain the agreed upon product decisions whether it be pricing, product ordering and production/ sales numbers.

-Strategic input on ordering of dealer inventory
The person must work closely to ensure that dealers ordering is in line with the business plan for each vehicle submitted which based on in depth market knowledge that will lead to an optimal sales rate for the brand. Regular audit on each dealers is required to ensure that dealers are ordering right and all KPIs are optimal.

-Prepare pricing strategies/ positioning of all vehicles
Work closely with planning team for long term setting of pricing based on market & competitive dynamics

-Escalate & Intervene in critical issues on current on ground programs
Work closely with field, aftersales & quality team to support any critical product issues through escalation to North America counterparts for quick resolution.

-Launch & Lifecycle management
Ensure that product lifecycle gates are on track and being met with little or no deviation based on plan. Any risks to be highlighted and solutions presented.

-Liaise weekly with Cadillac North America team
Weekly call with product team in NA to ensure Middel East Operations is up to date with all product related topics.

-Build comprehensive product rationalization and competitive packaging deck
Manage a quarterly document that helps dealers stay up to date and competitive for Cadillac vs competition. Document should include and not be limited to, shifts in strategy of product offering from competitors, Launch cadence of competitors & any change in Cadillac product offering that will effect Business Plan.

-Weekly/ Monthly management of the Variable Margin
Manage the weekly sales forecast submission. Manage the monthly sales & production forecast to ensure that VM bonus are paid out correctly and in line with the agreed upon targets.

-Future program management input
Liaise and support the Program team on future products through competitive pricing, packaging etc.

-Approval of technical data for external communication
All external customer facing communication with technical information to be filtered through said person for approval

-Provide sales guides pocket guides
Ensure that up to date pocket guides are prepared with the launch of new products and MY change catalogues

-Managing market intelligence data
Gathering market intelligence material and communicate it in a proper and periodic manner to all stake holders on the business

-Lead annual pricing process
Annual MY pricing and new launch pricing to be driven by said person with the support of finance and the product planning team

-Development of retail launch planner
All new launches to be supported with a retail launch planner. Said person is responsible for all vehicle details to be included.

-Support training team in development of training
Support and approve new training material for new car launches for the Training team. Ensure that all technical data is in line with the vehicles being launched

-Strategic volume support
Support the development of the volume planning by market.

Requirements

- Being an SME on all topics related to the automotive product such as Cadillac
- 5-7 years or experience in automotive - mainly in Planning or Sales or Marketing
- BA/ BS in Marketing/ Business
- Organized, approachable, decisive, strategic & driven
