The Role


The Role


Duties and Responsibilities:

It is the responsibility of each individual to familiarize with all safety rules & regulations, attend required safety trainings & participate in required safety programs (STOP, ASA, Risk Assessment etc.).

General:
1. Analyzing AFC (Approved For Construction) drawing, MTOs(Material Taking Off), cut list, nestting diagram Shop drawing prior to Fab.
2. Coordinating W/ PMT,Planning & ENGG.
3. Coordinating W/ Procurement & Warehouse for material delivery & release.
4. Fabrication Sequance, Method Statement, WPS & Rigging Studies review & modify if required.
5. Run regular production meeting w/ production team to achieve client Requirement, project spec, productivity and project schedule.
6. Preparing daily/ weekly progress report & daily/weekly production status report and two weeks look ahead plan .
7. Coordination with Supervisors and foremen & frequent yard visit to ensure right allocation of recourses according to target dates and budget.
8. Complete the Project with High Productivity.
9. Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process
10. Provide planning and cost control on all scopes

Specific:
1. Review and Estimate piping and mechanical works as applicable to meet construction plan
2. Fabrication and Installation of all piping systems
3. Conduct testing requirements, review System limits, Vendor details; and AFC drawings, mark-up P&ID’s & prepare test package prior for Hydro test, Installation scheduling and estimation of materials for delivery
4. Checking layouts lists as per drawing and make sure that the welding procedures are produced and available to conduct for such activities.
5. Verify and complete Technical Requests for any material shortages to complete the works
6. Coordinate with QC, Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning team to close all punch list to the satisfactory of project requirements.
7. Coordinate & interface with other construction discipline Engineers and sub contractors to achieve completion on time and at budget

SHOULD BE WILLING TO WORK IN REMOTE SITES WITHIN OR OUTSIDE UAE.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10 year experience in Oil and Gas Construction Industry Involve in Mechanical /Piping & Equipment Installation, Pre-com, and Commissioning and HUC Activities,
• Experience in Test Pack Preparation, Marking Test Limits per system, Hydro testing and Punch clearing.
• Experience in Performing Visual, dimensional, complex mechanical / Piping Installation & Inspection,

Key Skills:

• Leadership, well organized and effective Time Management of multiple tasks
• Demonstrate clear written / spoken communication with senior / junior and client personnel at a discipline level
• Able to technically direct design personnel within discipline
• Computer literate

Others:

• Physically strong & highly motivated with an innovative and analytic mind.
