Our Client is one of the leaders in Oil and Gas exploration in the UAE.

We are seeking a Production Engineer reporting to the Team Leader Production Engineering.

Key role
- To complete and publish all daily, weekly and monthly Government and Company reports
- Update and publish weekly short term production forecast (STPF)
- Ensure the accuracy. Completeness and accessibility of production data and reporting from the company production data base

Key responsibilities:
- Complete all reports of company and Government (daily, weekly and monthly
- Update and publish monthly water injection targets and hit list
- Update and publish monthly shut-in wells list as per drilling and operation status.
- Responsible for preparing, presenting and publishing of the Short Term Production Forecast (STPF) that forecast the following four months expected daily production (base & new wells).
- Organize, coordinate, and manage the weekly capacity setting and STPF review meeting.
- Work closely with Operations, drilling, Engineering to minimize lost production opportunities LPOs by aligning major activities in advance.
- Work closely with area production engineers to quantify the expected LPO resulting from different major projects reported in the STPF.
- Liaise with offshore production business planning to facilitate the elaboration of the technical production documentation.
- Support and interact with counterparts in offshore operations, Drilling, Well Intervention, and Engineering departments.
- Support the Asset with production / injection data.
- Maintaining the OFM database and responsible for troubleshooting and upgrade.
- Liaise with offshore fields for smooth data entries into Avocet Capture database & trouble shooting of database.
- Project Manage projects to streamline databases to include all oil and gas production.
- Continuously audit the current production data entry into the production databases to ensure the timely entry, data quality, and data completeness.
- Manage all database projects including OFM & Avocet.
- Liaise with offshore production business planning to facilitate the elaboration of the technical documentation
- Support and interact with counterparts in offshore operations, Drilling, Well Intervention, and Engineering departments.
- Support the Asset with technical work
- Providing career development advice to junior staff.
- This position of production engineer will be Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for production performance, STPF, production databases.
- The production engineer will liaise with Field Managers, Production Superintendent, Business Planning Manager, Finance Manager, IT Manager and Engineering Managers.

Requirements

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in Production Engineering and/or Management reporting in major Oil & Gas Operating Company preferably on offshore fields.
- Knowledge and experience in data management programs (Avocet, OFM).
- High level of understanding of offshore production/injection wells, facilities and environment.
- Strong technical writing skills and presentation skills are required.
- Excellent skills in MS Excel and Databases.
