Production Engineer

Job description / Role

1) Involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes.
2) Drawing up a production schedule;
3) Ensuring that the production is cost effective;
4) Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
5) Working out the human and material resources needed;
6) Drafting a timescale for the job;
7) Estimating costs and setting the quality standards;
8) Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
9) Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;
10) Supervising and motivating a team of workers;
11) Reviewing the performance of subordinates;
12) Identifying training needs.
