The RoleThe RoleBased in Dubai and reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for the entire production process for the Feed production, including the management of labour and materials. You will oversee the production process up to and including the management of Silos. The key responsibilities of this role include the complete management of the Feed production lines, preparing the production schedule in coordination with the planning department, coordinating with the purchasing team to ensure the supply of materials for the current production schedule. Other functions that this role will also oversee are management of the production and Silo teams, ensuring the health and safety of the product and the team through out the entire production process, planning and budgeting all equipment and resources, and also managing special production products when required. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree with a specialism in Agricultural engineering, production management or similar. Further professional technical training in feed/food production is preferred. The ideal candidate will bring with them at least 5 years management experience in animal feed manufacturing and will be an expert in feed production. In addition you will have at least 5-10 years in a manufacturing / production capacity. The successful candidate will have had exposure and hands on experience with state of the art technology and experience in managing new projects from design through to completion, (line extensions, new manufacturing facilities, etc.). You will be a successful manager with a track record of leading large teams, supporting and coaching others, delegating efficiently and empowering others to act. Strong communication skills are a must with fluency in both written and spoken English. Arabic as an additional language preferred. Candidates will not be considered if they do not have experienced in developed markets. |
