The RoleThe RoleThe Company: International design & interior specialists with a wealth of experience in working with some of the region’s leading hospitality & retail groups primarily in interior design & fit outs. As part of a large regional expansion plan they are now seeking to recruit a number of key staff to join their thriving Dubai operations as part of the manufacturing process. Job Description: • Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for leading the whole production process of interior / joinery projects for customers • Managing a team of 200 + staff, primarily carpenters, engineers in the manufacturing process • Responsible for taking a design order process through to completion • Duties include production planning, scheduling, quality assurance and Health & Safety • Regular meetings with the customers & stakeholders on the projects • Management of a pricing / budget & project P&L • Recruitment, training and motivation of a large team |
RequirementsRequirementsSkills Required: • Minimum of 10 years’ similar experience in the Management of joinery / manufacturing industry specializing in interiors / retail design / hotel interiors process etc. • Degree or Industry recognised qualification in Engineering / Joinery • Strong people management experience and the ability to direct large workforces through Supervisors and hands on approach • Good all round financial management, budgeting & planning • Must have strong communication skills and the ability to be “client facing” providing a technical solution in the pre-sales process with other Management colleagues |
