Job description / Role
Objective: The Product Manager ensures a quality product is offered to our customers at a competitive market price based on current market conditions and trends. Provides overall direction for all activities related to Product Research and Plant Production.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage activities such as budgets, cost of jobs, time keeping etc
Manage and maintain safe work practices and standards of workshop and it's employees;
Be able to manage a professional production unit with minimum wastage and maximum Efficiency
Supervise fabrication team from starting to handing over of projects to the satisfaction of Customers
Manage stocks efficiently
Reporting to : Division Manager
Subordinates : Technical Assistant & Team Leaders
Desired start date : 11-2010
Requirements
University qualifications : BS in equivalent field
Other certifications :To be certified from one of the major solid surface manufactures such as Dupont Corian, Avonite, L.G etc.
Previous experience : 5 years production manager in fabrication and sales related solid surface field experience.
Specialist knowledge : Proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheets, and internet and email systems, Auto CAD, Solid Works and various design softwares
Knowledge and ability to use precise measuring instruments, photo spectrophotometer and various woodworking hand tools.
Other Skills : Excellent people and communication skills.
Gender Preference : Male
Language Skills : Fluent in English, extra Arabic language is an advantage
