Position Title: Bakery Production Manager

2. TEAM STRUCTURE
Reports To: Bakery Manufacturing Manager
The Job: Production Manager
Direct Reports: Bakery Supervisors
To consistently produce the highest quality bakery products to every current and future customer whilst safeguarding all Supreme Groups policies and ethics.
4. PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE
Manage the production of bakery products within set standards for all customers as per the production schedule and enforce all company policies such as Food Safety(HACCP), Product Quality, OH&S whilst achieving the production KPI of DIFOT UPLHr CPU and other KPI’s as directed by the Bakery
5. KEY STAKEHOLDERS/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Main Internal Relationship : Bakery Management team ,FGWH Manager / Central Purchasing Department Bakery Management / MSD customer service / DOD Customer Service / other internal customers
Main External Relationship: Suppliers of Raw Materials / End customer / External Auditors / Visitors or VIP’s
6. KEY POSITION ACCOUNTATBILITIES
• Manage the bakery’s manufacturing process.
• Measure SOH for all raw materials
• Maintain acceptable levels of the following operational KPI’s that include
o Through put rates
o Operations Waste
o Production out put in KG’s
o Production out put in Units
o Production out put in Cases (boxes)
o Measure out put against total Head Count, Head Count less Leave, Actual Labor hours
• Maintain Product Quality reports
• Be an active member within the Bakery Management Team.
• Conform to all Health and Safety regulations.
• Follow the principle 100% quality 100% of the time
• Enforce the company’s corporate policies

Excellent computer literary skills are required
In depth knowledge of MS Office software
Understanding of the baking process
General Business Acumen
The ability to priorities competing tasks
Excellent understanding of a manufacturing environment.
Ability to maintain good relationships with suppliers, customers and other Business Units
Experience managing a large department
Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written
Desirable: Experience with the realities if of a commercial bakery operation
Trade qualification within the Baking industry or an in-depth knowledge of the science of baking or similar
Experience within the FMCG industry
The ability to work autonomously.
Experience with Axapata software or similar
