Production Manager

Job description / Role

The role Production Manager aims to oversee the production and manufacturing of cryogenic equipments (Columns and Cold boxes) and Non-Cryo equipments (APU vessels and skids) by managing resources at the production plant while ensuring all Safety, Risk Management and Quality KPIs are met.

This role will seek to optimize cost reduction and lead time in the area of production scope. In addition, this role shall look forward to be proactive and solution-oriented towards the improvements in his field of competencies (i.e. Manufacturing, process/methods, equipment and tools) and managing the team with outstanding Leadership skills.

Requirements

Minimum Education & Technical Qualification:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Operations Management.
- Technical Qualification in related activities (such as Pressure Vessels, boilers, structural steels and complex packages, piping )
- Lean and/or Six Sigma Knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles and applications associated with manufacturing operations, maintenance and engineering.
- Principles of industrial management in all disciplines.
- Ability to understand and Deploy Lean Manufacturing Practices.
- Familiarity with Pressure Vessel and/or Boiler Manufacturing & Operations.
- Possess outstanding Communication skills.
- Strong Management and leadership skills
- Oriented to problem solving by possessing analytical and planning skills.
- Responsible for carrying out heavy Fabrication & assembly of equipment similar to Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchanger, Columns, Storage Tank, Bullets, etc as per CODES & STANDARDS viz. ASME VIII Div1, B31.3, PED, ISO 9001
