The Role


The Role


Purpose of the Job:
OJT’s
To efficiently implement the Operations Training & Development in line with company policy and Production Area team development needs.
Assessor’s
To efficiently implement the Competence Assessments and Assurance Systems in line with company policy and Production Area team development needs.

Accountabilities:
Asset related:
Ensure all Training Resources - People, Facilities, Equipment, and Material- are adequate & available when required

Business Processes related:
To ensure the successful gap filling of Competence Development & Assurance needs / ensure successful re-assessment is completed thus making the candidate fully competent.
To agree Key Performance Indicators & Strategy with Operations Readiness Team Leader
Develop a Training Plan & Schedule / Competence Assessment Plan and then execute as integrated into the Project Execution Plan
Identify all potential risks to the success of the Training Plan/Competence Assessment, develop and implement effective mitigation plans

Experience / Qualification Required
HND/HNC/ONC/OND or equivalent in relevant Engineering discipline and a minimum of 8 - 10 yrs field experience plus 2 - 4 yrs experience as a OJT or Assessor.
Good knowledge and understanding of the Oil/Gas processes & systems.
A good knowledge of relevant E&P operations, procedures & practices.
Self-motivated and is required to have strong leadership skills.
Should be aware of HSE and process safety requirements.
Computer Literate, good communicator and organizer.
Having Valid Driving License is a plus point.
Having done “Train The Trainer” Course or relevant “Assessor Qualification or Internal Verifier Qualification” or having done similar qualifications.
Good Communication Skills at all Levels.
Good oral and written Technical English capability.
