Production Pharmacist

Production Pharmacist (anti-cancer development)
Duration: Permanent / Long term contract
Start date: Urgent

Our client a leading Saudi pharmaceutical manufacturer is looking for a dynamic and well qualified production pharmacist. They seek someone with research and development Pharmacist or so with extensive experience in Production of Anti-Cancer drugs, and most preferably a formulation person dealing with same subject.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that overall production meets legal requirements and pharmacy regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure compliance of raw materials in manufacturing process and all relevant operating and cleaning procedures.
- Ensure correct staging of materials and procedure compliance for weighing/dispensing of raw materials
- Maintain batch integrity and correct labeling of all in-process activities.
- Lead a team in ensuring production targets and standards are achieved.
- Ensure safe working environment and compliance with high safety and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Shift work may be required.

Requirements

- Relevant pharmacy degree.
- Qualified Pharmacist, production experience essential.
- Technical aptitude
- Strong team work and leadership ability balanced with concern for others.
- Ability to use initiative, communicate effectively and display good problem solving skills as well as the ability to plan and organize effectively.
- Intermediate level of computer proficiency required

The client seeks:
- Anti Cancer drug development experience is essential
- Someone who has worked in entire production areas like compression, granulation, packing etc.
- Knowledge of documentation.
