The RoleThe RoleThe Production Planner will primarily be responsible for orchestrating the production planning, scheduling and forecasting. Liaise with production department to discuss changes to specifications. Attend regular production meetings with the Production Manager and other planners. Principal responsibilities include: • Monitor forecast, master plan,delivery and production schedules. • Coordinate and liaise with Materials Controller, Purchaser and Production Staff. • Verifying the quality of material in production and on completion; prepare monthly attrition and delivery report. • Continuously improving efficiency and minimizing cost. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe desired candidate will have professional experience in steel fabrication plants to include; Production Planning, Scheduling and Forecasts roll up. Excellent analytical, negotiation & interpersonal skills and should be well versed with latest industry standard planning software packages. |
