Job description / Role
- Reviews plant or field operating data on a daily basis and advises on optimization of process operations and design to perform special testing programs as necessary to anticipate, evaluate and resolve process problems.
- Developing and maintaining operations procedures aligned to the shift work need.
- Report to the production management about the operating problem and the operability of the piping, valves, actuators, fitting heaters, cooler, flare, vessel and tanks.
- Works with other specialist engineers to carry out various duties related to modifications, improvements and alterations.
- Supervises the implementation of minor modification and improvement projects carried out in-house to ensure execution and completion to the established company standards and specifications.
- To support and asses in resolving operational issues and carries out process safety sessions prior to major activities and shutdown.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- 7-10 years in operations of gas, oil facilities, petrochemical, etc.
