Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

ROLE:
A Production Supervisor coordinates and controls the garment manufacturing processes; she/he ensures that the garments are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accomplishes production results by communicating job expectations, monitoring, and supervising the production team.
Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process, observing control points, and constantly tracking of the garments.
Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant raw materials.
Ensure that goods inward / stock control department is well organized and controlled to sufficiently support production and ensure that any materials that are late or holding up production for whatever reason are chased and followed up until received.
Provide routine MI to the Production Manager.
Overseeing the production process and drawing up a production schedule.
Making sure that products are produced on time and are meeting the AQL.
Working out the human and material resources needed.
Monitors the production processes and adjusts schedules as per the business needs.
Monitors product standards and implements quality-control consistently.
Ensures that the health and safety guidelines are followed by all employees.
Supervises and Motivates teams of workers across the production floor.

Requirements

A minimum of 5years garment production experience.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Garment construction knowledge essential
Excellent problem solving abilities and proven ability to affect and manage change.
Excellent time management skills and ability to identify and work on priorities.
Skills to communicate clearly at all levels- verbally, written and face-to-face.
