The RoleThe RoleThe role of the Program Manager (PgM) is to plan, execute, and finalize the College of Medicine and Health Sciences program and associated projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of both Collaborative Partner’s (CP) on-site and campus based personnel, Khalifa University (KU) leadership, faculty and operational staff; and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver the College of Medicine and Health Sciences (CM&HS) program according to plan. The Program Manager will also manage the process to ensure satisfactory adherence of contractually defined program objectives, milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs) inclusive of stated timelines and deliverables, while overseeing quality control throughout the CM&HS life cycle. |
RequirementsRequirementsUniversity degree, desirably within Business/Public Administration Hospital Administration or Public/Business Administration Master’s Degree, or higher (MHA or MPA/MBA) is highly desirable Certification in Project Management (PM) or Program Management (PgM) is highly desirable. 10+ years direct work experience in project management (PM) or academic medicine PM capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution 3+ years direct work experience in a healthcare related program management (PgM) capacity, desirably within a university/academic setting is highly desirable. |
