Program Manager / Director

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a famous, multinational organisation who are looking to hire a Program Manager / Director to project manage their Digital e-commerce strategy. This position will be a Director position based out of the Middle East head office in Dubai and will include extensive travel to the GCC and MENA regions (approximately 50%).

You will lead digital commerce product development (corporate, AOW) within the digital team and create new features and functionalities to drive conversion and improve the customer ordering experience. You will develop positive user experiences on e-commerce sites and act as a subject matter expert with regard to digital commerce, order, payment and gift.

You will also develop digital commerce product strategies and priorities to increase engagement, improve the customer ordering, payment and gift experience and drive revenue at the restaurants. In addition, you will leverage digital commerce product management experience with direct-to-consumer companies.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have strong experience in using digital platforms and maintaining customer loyalty alongside at least 5 years experience in program management for consumer technology, internet, digital media or e-commerce. You should have a Degree in engineering, computer science or a technology field and have the ability to work at a fast pace whilst managing competing priorities.

You should have a demonstrable track record of shipping products and hands-on execution in product delivery and the ability to develop project schedules, communicate deadlines and enforce project deadlines. In addition you should be highly capable of clearly communicating tasks, schedules, risks and processes to a variety of business, creative and technical audiences. It is essential you are proficient in the use of project management tools, are a self-starter with a strong bias for action and have a strong ability to work cross functionally to deliver products and experiences.
