Employment: Full Time

Our client is a not-for- profit organisation and is supported by a combination of multinational professional service firms. There is also a strong allegiance with regulatory companies across region including banks and governmental authorities.

They aim to accomplish their goals through sharing practice and experience and providing access to global knowledge through interaction with regional and international counterparts.

The Program Manager reports to the Director of Professional Development and oversees the development and delivery of the events, programs, workshops and services as well as knowledge development activities. Primary responsibilities are developing the annual program calendar, engaging all relevant parties needed for the execution of events and ensuring the high quality of products and services delivered. The role is also responsible for board effectiveness initiatives from inception to presentation to board members and will coordinate with the Board Secretary, recruit companies and compile survey results etc.

Research, administration and relationship management are also part of the remit and you will oversee the development of case studies for training purposes and monitor news for relevant occurrences in board effectiveness in the GCC. You will be responsible for managing the Program Coordinator.

Requirements

This role is best suited to a senior EA who has a strong event management and has a strong affinity to non profit work and a high motivation for promoting corporate and board governance in the region.

The individual must have at least five years experience in a similar role and have strong entrepreneurial skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

The necessity for strong time management, project management, communication and organisational skills is a given.
