Program Manager

Job description / Role

Are you an experienced Program Manager seeking to enhance your career on a major portfolio of works in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia?

Our client is one of the Kingdoms biggest construction consultancies, they have a very strong order book for 2015 and beyond; so this is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving company in a key management position.

Reporting to the Operations Director, key tasks include:
- Interfacing with the corporate management to ensure that support is available to the program delivery teams.
- Managing the relationship with partners to support programme delivery.
- Design Project Teams and arrange for them to be resourced.
- Develop resourcing plans.
- Define and establish Portfolio Management Processes.
- Implement portfolio communication, performance tracking and reporting.
- Establish clear and effective governance for programmes under management.
- Review and approve Program and Project Management Plans.
- Drive the implementation of best practice processes and procedures in-line with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Work collaboratively with executives to integrate cross program activities and functions.
- Develop, evaluate and implement innovative Program Operational models.

Requirements

- Possess in excess of 20 years of experience in Project I Program management with direct management responsibility for substantial budget and resources.
- Must possess a Civil Engineering Degree qualification.
- Preferably with professional qualification such as PMP, PgMP, Prince2 or similar.
- Proven track record in program / project management at a senior management level.
- International Experience gained on major infrastructure/building projects.
- Previous experience in the Middle East would be a distinct advantage.
