Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives:

•Manage and Develop, at Group level and at OBU level, the Indoor / Outdoor / Distribution Lighting portfolio Strategy(Range, Specifications, Evolution analysis, Positioning, Competition, Roadmap,…) and be responsible to achieve the Top-line/Bottom-line result of his portfolio category.
•Manage new Innovation pipeline (Roadmap) in his category as defined in SP/ AOP plan.
•Seek and manage possible portfolio acquisition via strategic partnership, and execute full and professional portfolio integration
•Responsible for development and communication, on time, to the R&D team of the Business Cases for all new Product development (Project Brief).
•Responsible of the successful Market Introduction of all new Products
•Responsible to provide complete, on time, Product Marketing support to Sales Service team and OBUs Product manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Responsible of the Strategy of the entire Indoor / Outdoor / Distribution lighting portfolio category, by identifying and driving the required Portfolio management actions
•Plan Product Innovation Strategy for its Product category. Responsible to develop the Product Portfolio Roadmap for each OBU, capturing all possible inputs coming from the Market, from Sales Service team, from the OBUs
Product & Marketing managers, but also from the R&D team and from some Strategic Partners
•Monitor and take all required actions to ensure the development and maintenance of an “healthy” portfolio, including gap analysis and price, margin, specification performance benchmarking versus key competitors
•Manage to collect, to synthesize all commercial and technical information from Customers, Sales Service and OBUs and helping to define new Product Specification requirement and communicate that Project Brief (Articulating product differentiators) to the R&D team in order to start the Product Creation process as per the timing defined in the roadmap.
•Determine pricing strategies define and drive the implementation of a “Value Based” pricing enabling to capture the best value of our Product Innovation
•Develop Market Introduction Strategy. Responsible to set up and manage the Market Introduction plan to ensure the preparation and the effective launch of new Product, with all necessary sales & marketing tools, in relation with all representative team members from communication, R&D, supply chain, sales service and commercial organizations.
Support Sales Service team and the Commercial organization with all product related information and training.
•Develop and maintain KPIs to measure the success of his own Product category performance, such as Product category sales development, Portfolio management, new Product Innovation and market introduction and other product marketing activities.

Requirements

Requirements:

•Minimum 5 years’ experience as Product Manager preferable in lighting or similar B-to-B field.
•Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
•Experience in market development and strategic planning.
•Able to understand and adapt to the changing market trends and behavior.
