Job description / Role
Parsons Brinckerhoff was selected by Ashghal to provide program management consultant (PMC) services for what is expected to be more than 200 local road and drainage infrastructure projects to be implemented throughout the country over a period of five to seven years. Five general engineering consultants (GECs) have been selected to design, tender and supervise construction of the projects under Parsons Brinckerhoff’s supervision.
As such we have a requirement for an experienced Programme Controls Manager to provide leadership for program risk management, planning and scheduling, cost estimating, cost control, progress measurement, electronic document management and reporting for the entire programme.
Requirements
• A Degree in Civil Engineering within a minimum of 20 years post graduate experience;
• Previous experience in Programme Management or working on 5 or more inter-related projects simultaneously;
• Have good knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle for Roads/Infrastructures projects in respect to planning, cost and schedule control;
• A good knowledge of the design process and construction methodologies;
• Experienced Programme Controls professional with good technical skills (i.e. critical path, earned value, etc);
• Experience in the application of Primavera P6, and knowledge of Primavera contract manager on Infrastructure projects; and
• Experience in developing, analysing, and maintaining schedules and Cost/Progress reporting systems.
