The Role


The Role


Preference will be given to local residents of Bahrain.

•Builds daily programme schedule.
•Liaises with channel's interstitial schedulers.
•Updates, maintains and releases schedule changes.
•Liaise with External Playout Facilities in Beirut, if needed.
•Cataloguing of tapes and monitoring tape status with regards to arrival of Arabic subtitled tapes from Screens in time for transmission.
•Communication with EGO and Broadcast for non-subtitled material.
•Main cover for interstitial scheduling in case of need.

Requirements


Requirements


EDUCATION: Higher education and equivalent television/work experience.

LANGUAGE: Fluent in English (both spoken and written). Arabic as required.

EXPERIENCE: Previous program and/or scheduling experience. Excellent computer knowledge of Microsoft Windows (specifically Word and Excel) software and databases.
