CH2M HILL Project Accountant - Dubai, UAE
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Follows general instructions and with discretion as to work details, performs accounting tasks of a difficult nature requiring an experienced, professional knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Interprets accounting data, analyzes reports and recommends action to be taken.
• Prepares difficult journal entries, maintains complex ledgers, reconciles and analyzes specific cost or project account ledgers.
• Assists in the development and installation of accounting systems, cost/project accounting methods, procedures and controls.
• May establish and maintain property accounting records.
• May review the preparation of various financial statements, records and reports compiled by lower level accounting support personnel.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
• B.S. or B.A. in Accounting, Business Administration, equivalent major or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of professional accounting experience preferred.
