The RoleThe RoleThis is your opportunity to join an internationally recognised and highly regarded property development and investment company currently undertaking a range of high profile developments including mega-projects in multiple locations. Due to the continued company expansion an opportunity now exists for a Project Accountant. This role will be dedicated to the company's signature mega-project carrying out professional accounting duties related to the control of the accounts office by participating in all aspects of financial accounting transactions. Coordination of payroll, along with Accounts Payable will be key aspects of this role. Other key accountabilities include: - Project budget needs by analysing project plans on both short and long-term basis - Compile financial data and reconcile budget expenditures - Assist with Statutory Financial Accounts preparation - Deal with operational departments on a regular basis - Coordinate banking/payroll processing |
RequirementsRequirementsCandidates should possess the following skills and experience: - University degree in Commerce/Accounting - Membership of a professional accounting institute - Minimum 6 years professional experience in an accounting role - Experience covering Accounts Payable and Payroll functions - Results-oriented with strong focus on accuracy |
