The Project Analystplays a key role in supporting the Office of Activation Management in both Patient Care* and Non Patient Care service initiatives to support the Sidra organization in its immediate phase to open the hospital safely and in future support its strategic initiatives to make it a world class medical and research center. The Project Analystensures that all the supporting dependency logs, risks and issues are being managed and updated to support the implementation plans and schedules, and ensures they are integrated and sequenced with the overall Sidra Integrated Activation Plan and Schedule. The incumbent also plays a pivotal role in assisting all departments to complete their activation plans and align the activities with the master integrated activation schedule to ensure their departments are functional prior to opening.

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Reviews and alignsactivation tasks to ensure they are integrated and sequenced in alignment with Sidras comprehensive Integrated Activation Plan and Schedule.This includes providing the respective department leads with the approved processes, tools and information required.
- Aligns service scope, goals and deliverables that support business function in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicates activation processes and expectations to Activation Coordinating team (ACT) and Activation Work groups (AWG) in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaises with all designated stakeholder groups on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinates with relevant departments and AWG to define the activation objectives and determines the deliverables and tasks for the Activation Program.
- Assists in developing strategies to achieve activation objective outcomes and deliverables in the required activation timeline.
- Coordinates the delivery of the activation program across the program lifecycle from pre-facility handover, post handover, transition to the facilities to opening and beyond in accordance with the Activation Management Office principles and guidelines.
- Monitorsactivation expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Coordinates tasks and responsibilities with appropriate personnel to ensure timelines are met.
- Identifies and managesactivation program dependencies and critical path.
- Plans, schedulesand tracksprogram timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Prepares project progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Identifies changes in activation program scope, potential crisis situationsto discuss and review contingency plans with respective Director Office of Activation Management
- Assists workgroups / business units to identify scopes of work that fall outside of the contractors but which is required for opening, are included in activation activities/plans.
- Workswith consultant staff members (as required)to ensure deliverables are completed.
- Acts as point of contact regarding project implementation activities.
- Performs quantitative and qualitative reviews of Activation, issues, change requests, dependencies and other artifacts.
- Works closely with the OAM team and other business stakeholders and provides necessary information for further analysis and appraisal management.
- Assists the Director Office of Activation Management in training related to OAM Activation Processes not limited to issues, dependencies and change management throughout the organization.
- Performs holistic reviews, detailed analysis and fact based mitigations for issues impacting the Activation phase.
- Follows-up with Issue owners, dependency owners and Change Request initiators and if required performs end-to-end generation and execution of issue and dependency response plans.
- Assists Project Specialist and other OAM team members to develop Issue Management and dependency management frameworks and standards and ensures teams adhere to these standards.
- Assists the Project Specialist in business processes reviews and develops tools and solutions within SharePoint or similar environments, to facilitate, improve and where possible automate such processes.
- Adheres to Sidras standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies.

In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra during this pre-operational phase, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.

* Patient Care Services includes the following branches/divisions:Medical, Research, Nursing, and Allied Health

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare administration or equivalent
- 3+ years progressive experience in Project management
- Excellent organization, communication and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, anticipate issues and proactively adjust work plans
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated project planning and coordination experience.
- Strong negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead effective teams
