The RoleThe RoleProject /Program Director Petrochemical Plant Construction Qatar Our client is soon to commence construction of a world class Polysilicon production facility at Ras Laffan, Qatar. A Project Director is required to manage the full cycle of engineering and construction of the plant from FEED phase through to production. The design consultants, main contractor and technology partner has been selected. Reporting to the VP Engineering you will build and manage a professional team and successfully lead the entire project from the client side. Main Responsibilities: • Ensure strictest adherence to design, quality and HSE standards. • Liaison with contractor and technology partner/consultants to ensure project is delivered safely, on time and within budget • Oversee the design and engineering reviews and all contractual and commercial issues. • Manage discipline engineering managers (Civil, Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls). |
RequirementsRequirementsSkills/Experience Required: • A successful track record of directing $500M+ Petrochemical/Process/Power projects in the Middle East is essential. • Experience in Qatar will be highly advantageous • Degree qualified or equivalent • or Chartered status plus many years of relevant experience . Our client offers an excellent tax free package known to be highly competitive in the local and international market. This is a Greenfield project at start-up phase. We therefore encourage process/technical and engineering professionals with Polysilicon plant or similar experience to apply as we are recruiting a variety of senior engineers and managers in the near future. |
