Job description / Role
Urgent opening with one of the leading oil & gas industry .
Job location : Turkmenistan
Experience : 12 to 22 years (offshore construction oil & gas project)
Job Description :
a) Develop and control a process to accomplish completion of projects in accordance with the approved design and time frame.
b) Participate and contribute to prepare pre bid survey and data gathering from end users. Review, comment and approve scope of work, technical drawings, documentation and schedules for preparation of tender package.
c) Provide constructive feedback to the design team during the select, define and execute phases of projects.
d) Review comment and approve contractor construction documentation, procedures, method statements inclusive of specifications, documents, drawings, P&I diagrams etc. in accordance with applicable codes, standards to ensure project construction quality and safety.
f) Foresee, highlight and intervene timely for any changes and deviations from approved design and drawings to minimize any project time and/or cost impact.
g) Witness and approve various inspections, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities involved in field towards project execution.
h) Coordinate, monitor and facilitate third party activities/services such as operation, PMC & TPI involved in project activities to expedite project.
j) Conduct meetings (routine & task specific), Job Kick-off meetings, preparing daily/weekly progress reports, participating in task risk assessments. Prepare. Review and approve related documents such as MOM, RA, method statements etc. for continuous project construction performance evaluation.
k) Identify potential skills & training needs among the team members, providing opportunity for enhancing their skills & career growth, appraising performance and recommending suitably.
l) Track, Resolve and Approve AFC documentations, Review and Approve all field project closure documentation for assigned projects upon completion (As Built Documents) up gradation of lesson learnt register to ensure satisfactory handover to stake owner.
d) Liaise as and when required with Dubai project management team and project manager for any urgent issues and resolutions required.
e) Participate in field daily/weekly operations meetings and interact with various other field departments on any project related interface or services required to facilitate project construction activities.
f) Monitor availability and facilitate activities of project control agencies such as Third part inspectors, Project management consultancy, Project vendors/sub-contractors & auditors weekly; or as and when required to ensure smooth progress of project works.
mechanical / offshore construction project experience must.
Requirements
a) Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from recognized University.
b) At least 10 years of experience in an international organization working with international quality codes and standards such as ASAME, API, DNV etc. and HSE standards.
c) At least five years of construction management experience with knowledge of oil and gas process, controls and working environment in similar position/work profile is a must.
d) Very good English speaking and written skills. Russian Language skills will be an added Advantage.
e) Must show good analytical abilities with self-motivating, positive attitude to supervise, control, assess/evaluate & motivate construction team. With experience of directly handling construction manpower
f) Good computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft office as bare minimum requirement, project management software’s will be added advantage.
