Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Project Controls Specialist - Planning, Scheduling and Progress Support
Must have basic schedule knowledge
Provide data input to scheduling, progress, and performance measurement systems
Must have sufficient technical knowledge to understand basic construction and engineering terminology
Should be Task Oriented and work with minimal direction after initial training
Should be a junior to mid-level employee that is willing to expand their Project Controls Experience

Requirements

Project Controls Specialist - Cost, Change and Risk Management Support

Must be competent with the Microsoft Office Suite software, specifically Excel with ability to generate cost reports and graphs
Collect data to update and produce cost management/scheduling system reports
Record purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, amendments, and other adjustments for commitment and expenditure reporting
Review expenditures for compliance with cost coding requirements and commitment detail for purchase orders and subcontracts
Review costs for compliance with the contract, as well as conformance with company policies, procedures, and prime contract terms
Ensure that all work performed adheres to contract commercial terms and company/client policies and procedures
Perform cost reconciliation for cost reporting systems
Assist in the preparation of specialty schedules, the project labour forecast, cash flows, and ad hoc reports, when requested
Interface with internal and external clients, auditors, vendors and other company personnel, as required
Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits
Assist with project closeout and preparation and submittal of historical information
Assist with Change Management
Assist with Risk Management
Field Construction Experience is Preferred
Fluor Experience is Preferred
Must be good in English Language Oral and written
