Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A leading company in the industry of designing and manufacturing pumps and anciallary equipment for the upstream and downstream oil and gas markets are looking for a Project Controller for a role in Basra, Iraq.

Successful candidate will have responsibility for the costs and forecasts for a large multi-year gas turbine project.

Candidate monitors costs and commitments from requisition to invoice review as well as developing and monitoring cost forecast.

The position is a 1 year long term with the successful individual working a rotation of 8 weeks on and 2 weeks off.

Ensure project costs, profits, working capital and timeline targets are met.

Ensuring that appropriate control procedures are in place.

Ensure that project performance is measured, reported and acted on including cost and profit forecasts through monthly statements that are monitored weekly.

Liaise witht he customer on schedule and commercial matters.

Travel to customer site as and when required.

Requirements

Engineering costing background with a Bachelor's degree.

8-10 years experience.

Salary AED 14,000 depending on experience and suitability.
