Job Background
Due to restructuring within the organisation an exciting opportunity has risen for a Project Controller to be based in Oman.
This person will be accountable for:
• Financial control of projects under the division.
• Preparation of all management and financial reporting and submission to management.
• Managing the monthly and quarterly projection forecast functions for all projects.
• Cash management and cash flow forecasting of all divisions
• Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and control procedures.
• Management of the review and analysis of project status on a monthly basis and preparation of all performance reports to management.
• Review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents.
• Analyse review expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels.
• Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company’s automated financial systems.
Requirements
• Minimum 5-10 years finance and accounting experience gained within a project environment with at least two years at management level.
• Professionally qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CPA) with a Finance or Accounting Degree.
• Excellent communication skills to deal with senior leadership and key clients.
• It is compulsory that the candidate is Western Educated
