Project Controls Engineer

Job description / Role

ROLE SPECIFICATION

Project Planning and controls:
Tracking progress and project schedule
Fine tuning project schedule
Coordination and communication of schedule with construction manager and engineer on site, subcontractors
Preparation of daily report
Preparation of weekly report with progress percentage
Preparation of four week looks ahead schedule
Preparation of monthly progress report
Contracts and quantity surveying:
Measuring and verification of subcontractor progress claim quantities in coordination with site supervisors/engineers
Calculation of quantities related to our claims or variation or any back charges to subcontractor
Periodic quantity survey of remaining works for cost estimation purposes
Processing progress payment claims (Subcontractors, main contract if required)
Monitoring/reporting status of drawings and variation orders and materials to support contracts engineer
Construction Engineering:
Up to day information of what is going on site (by physically visiting site) to ensure realistic planning and controls
Monitoring/reporting status of drawings for daily/weekly/monthly reports and ensures coordination with project engineers
Monitoring/reporting status of local and imported project material in coordination with Procurement

Requirements

-Male gender
-Minimum Bachelor degree in engineering (Civil/mechanical)
-Minimum 4 years related work experience
-EPC sector experience
-Project planning software (Primavera P6 & Microsoft project)
-Numeracy skills, analytic thinking ability, well organized, left brain person
-Exposure to international projects preferred
