Job description / Role
This international contractor work on large scale civil engineering projects worldwide. The successful candidate will manage and supervise a team of Project Controls Engineers and Planners.
Follow up and implement the established project controls processes and prepare all reporting and deliverables as required.
Prepare and manage the schedule of the works.
Manage the contract scope including any claims and variations.
Manage the invoicing and measurement processes.
Assist in the procurement of project materials and subcontractors and their subsequent control.
Requirements
To apply candidates should meet the following criteria
A BSc Civil or Mechanical Engineering
A good knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start up work processes on large civil engineering projects
Excellent leadership and organization skills, as the successful candidate has to lead a team of engineers.
Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills in the English Language.
Computer literate; conversant with MS Office application and competent in Primavera (P3 or P6).
Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.
