Employment: Full Time

Project Controls Manager on a major stadia construction project based in KSA. Developing an excellent working relationship with the client and the entire project team to ensure they work together and successfully deliver the project within the prescribed framework. The role will include delivering and managing project controls systems for major construction programmes.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Providing active leadership to the Project Controls Team working on the project
- Deliver the functional role of Project Controls Manager on the project on behalf of the Client
- Along with a number of other senior managers, perform all responsibilities associated with being part of the Projects Senior Management Team for delivering the Project Management Role on behalf of the Client
- Providing leadership, direction and management of project control resources which will be both EC Harris and those of our partner company
- Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan
- Design, develop, implement and update the Project Communications Plan
- Design, develop, implement and update the Project financial frameworks
- Implementing Governance (management process and procedures)
- Establish baseline budget and schedules
- Ensure document controls are in place
- Perform work in accordance with the agreed project brief, company procedures and the stated governance requirements
- Identify, register, analyse, track, recommend mitigations, manage, monitor, control and influence major project risks
- Ensuring commercial risk and opportunities are proactively managed
- Maintain client satisfaction
- Effective management and reporting of project performance
- Manage the change process
- Change control of all contract documentation

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline
- Requirement of at least 10 years of experience of implementing and managing project controls teams
- Extensive experience of implementing and managing project controls systems
- Proven track record of working on major programmes of work from inception to completion on a fast track schedule
- Fluency in both written and oral English
- High level of IT literacy
- Strong report writing skills
- Effective, multi-cultural, interpersonal communications
- Energy and motivation, with natural drive and excellent communication skills
- Able to manage assignments from conception through to conclusion
- Tenacity to ask questions, listen to answers, define problems and formulate solutions
- Strong team player
- Able to multitask and manage priorities
