Job description / Role
Our client is a Global Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Contractor who have been set up in the Middle East for the last 25 years.
Due to a recent Major Project win, my client is currently recruiting for a Project Controls Manager to work on a $750m USD New Build Stadium project in Doha, Qatar as part of the States ongoing Construction plans for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The successful candidate should have extensive experience Major Construction Projects worth $500m USD and above. Previous Stadium experience is preferable but not a must.
This position will be responsible for:
- Single point contact with Employers Project Controls Team
- Hands on experience in Primavera 6.0 is desirable
- Preparation, contract review and updating of Resource Loaded schedules & reports such as Look ahead reports, Daily Report, Weekly Progress Report and Monthly Progress Report
- Plan for resources, with inputs from site team leaders
- Shall have the responsibility for the scheduling and monitoring
- Monitor the progress, financial performance and resource usage.
- Variation analysis and corrective action.
- Interface Management ( Meetings, Documentation and Dissemination of Information) Client/Operator/Stake holder/ Other Contracts at site/ Local Agencies
- Document Control at Project Level.
- Dissemination of information regarding changes Change Management
- Coordinates with dept and collates information required to prepare progress report and Review the Progress monitoring
- Prepare and Review Progress Photographs and records, Planning and Briefing documents etc.
- Reports to project director

Requirements
- Degree Qualified
- At least 18 years industry experience
- GCC experience advantageous but not essential
- Main Contracting experience
- Project Controls experience worth in excess of $500m USD
