Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Tasks:
1. Overall coordination and management of Project Controls activities of the Project.
2. Provide progress, performance, cost, schedule and risk data to Project Management Team for early warnings for any potential delays or deviations from the approved Plan.

Functions:
- Selecting and managing Project Controls disciplines with the relevant experience and skillsets
? Ensuring Project Controls Team understand and follow the Lukoil Project Management Processes and Procedures.
? Development of core competences within the Project Controls Team.
? Appraise performance of Project Controls team members.
? Coaching and mentoring junior members of the Project Controls Team and those in the Project Team that need greater understanding of Project Controls activities.
– Review and endorse for approval the progress and schedules for all phases of the project lifecycle.
– Review and update the Project Budget and Schedule appropriate to each phase of the project lifecycle.
– Review and endorse the project cost and schedule baselines for approval.
– Supervise the preparation of the Master Schedule and Directive Schedule.
– Participate in the preparation of the latest Contracting Strategy.
– Review and coordination of the Project Weekly & Monthly Reports
– Facilitate the development of the project WBS.
– Participate in Risk workshops and provide input to the Cost / Schedule Risk Analysis.
– Participate as required in the Phase Gate assurance reviews.
– Ensure accurate cost and schedule data is provided to Economics department
– Coordinate and endorse Project KPIs and ensure that these KPIs are met in a timely fashion.
– Coordinate and endorse AFDs and AFEs for all project components
– Lead the Project Control audits during the execution phase.
– Evaluate corrective actions for deviations from the baseline. Assess impacts and outcomes with the involvement of all responsible parties.

Requirements

Education:
– Technical or Business Degree.

Relevant Professional Experience:
– 5 years supervisory experience on a similar scale project.
– Minimum 10 years relevant project controls experience.
– Minimum 3 years relevant project experience

Professional knowledge, skills and capabilities:
– Fully versed with Planning, Cost and Budgeting principles and techniques.
– Good written and oral communications with ability to present at all levels of management.
– Desirable, but not mandatory industry specific certification. (Eg. CSP, CCP, PMP, AACE etc)
– Familiarity with relevant industry computerized Project Management
systems.
