The RoleThe RoleOur Client: Our client is a leading global supplier of consultancy, engineering, and project management services in the world`s oil and gas, minerals and metals, clean energy, environmental and infrastructure markets. To assist in the management of commissioning activity on a major gas processing project in Abu Dhabi we are now looking to appoint a Project Controls Manager into a critical role covering PMC function and project controls interface with the client. The Role: The successful candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities: - Management of PMC project control requirement for projects to include overall management of planning schedules, cost control and project forecasting - Coordinating progress review meetings - Providing effective interface between construction and procurement disciplines in ensuring the smooth execution of the project. - Monitoring of EPC and contractors baseline plans and performance against schedule - Update project forecast (revenue, cost, and profit margin)Prepare internal cost reports for Manager of Projects (PMC) and Upper Management - Analyze project`s cost performance against the budget, provide recommendations to Manager of Projects (PMC) and Upper Management - Interface with a joint-venture | client to ensure a proper execution of commercial and other JV agreements |
RequirementsRequirementsEssential Experience and Qualifications - Minimum 10 years project controls experience - Previous employment in a PMC project controls role on a major gas processing and pipeline project - Degree qualified - Previous Middle East | UAE experience - Excellent communication and reporting skills |
