Al-Futtaim is regarded as a pioneer in the Gulf region's Automotive industry and encompasses every aspect of the Automotive business; from passenger and commercial vehicles and construction equipment sales and service, to used car sales and rental and leasing. The Automotive Division is currently embarking on an aggressive 5 years expansion plan.The Project Coordination Manager will support the Director - Automotive Development in managing a variety of development projects related to a specific brand's planned growth strategy over the coming five years.This involves new build, re-development and refurbishing of the different brand facilities. The job holder will be involved directly in coordination, liaison and management of the projects' stakeholders requirement.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

* Providing project management (including planning, monitoring, controlling and communication services) to support the successful implementation of new and refurbishing projects related to facilities to the Automotive Division.
* Attending project planning meetings and updating stakeholders of project progress.
* Monitoring and comparing with the planned progress to ensure quality, organizational alignment, budget, and project deliverables are on target.
* Defining and agreeing project objectives with Automotive key stakeholders/Project Sponsors then communicating with the project team to establish the vision of what will constitute successful accomplishment of the project objective.
* Developing or providing direction for developing communication plan to ensure executive management and stakeholders receive adequate communication throughout the project and are kept informed of critical path progress and variances from plan, while building a collaborative environment for stakeholders.
* Ensuring adherence to project governance and quality standards.
* Coordinating with client/ consultant regarding progress against project program and timelines.
* Providing support to operations on matters pertaining to repairs, maintenance and refurbishments, in order to maintain standards of operation.
* Preparing various tender related documents for concept and detail design, or preliminary, final design and construction stages

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

* A University Degree.
* At least 5 yrs project management in construction/automotive industry related.
* Hands on project management, construction drawings, Word, Excel and Microsoft project planning software system.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of individuals in a wide range of situations which usually requires tact, diplomacy and discretion
