Project Coordinator - Interiors

Job description / Role

You will be professional, hardworking, conscientious, diligent and diplomatic with a minimum of 8 years of overall experience.

You will be responsible along with the design team for your project planning & delivery to appropriate deadlines within the Dubai office.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible as Lead Designer for a certain regional brand Hotel chain including managing future hotel projects along with space planning of pre-defined areas into new sites.
- Manage drawing production packages, project timings, records and drawing protocols.
- Preparation of 5 star Hospitality drawing packages, requirements, timings and issuance.
- Obtaining appropriate design information to enable production.
- Providing individual project guidance and set-up for Cad operator.
- Reviewing drawing packages with designers and Cad operators.
- Working alongside Detailer and assisting with design and construction detailing.
- Ensuring high standards and protocols are applied.
- Coordinate with Client, Consultant, Contractor, Supplier, liaison and post contract department.
- Engaging CAD Staff and managing production of your projects.
- Establish the preliminary drawing schedule in accordance to the allocated drawings.
- Together with the nominated Design Team, review the given information from the Client, Architect etc. to establish all areas are in line with the contract and scope of work.
- Fluent spoken and written English essential.
- Previous experience working in a design team and managing a cad drafting production would be advantageous along with extensive detailing knowledge and space planning abilities.

Requirements

- 8 years of relevant design experience working within a team.
- Considerable detailing experience.
- Space planning capabilities.
- Preferable basic AutoCAD experience / understanding.
- Management experience of small team.
