The role of Project Coordinator is to assist the Project team in the planning, execution and reconciliation of projects/events according to strict deadlines and within budget. The primary focus is to provide efficient and effective administration support to the project delivery of the event. This person is responsible for managing suppliers, administration duties, reporting progress to Senior Project Manager and team at regular intervals.

Role responsibilities & duties:
- Supporting the Projects team in the execution of all event-related operations
- Administration support to the senior or project manager
- Distribute, manage, monitor and report timelines and assist with internal budgets, contracts
- Coordinate logistical planning and execution on event day
- Liaise with all third party contracts consultants, suppliers etc
- Manage and administer the pre-qualification process for suppliers and consultants
- Communicate regularly any changes commercial, rider, deliverables, process to relevant departments
- Prepare the event manual covering all aspects of the project
- Contribute and provide assistance in developing a detailed and comprehensive project plan with associated communications documents for the project/event including detailed work breakdown structures addressing ticket pricing, timelines, deliverables, venue analysis, budgets, resource allocation, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, marketing, risk assessment.

Requirements

Suitable candidates for this role must have excellent administrative skills, ability to create, manipulate and utilize spreadsheets, word processing programs and proof read and review accurately. Good project management skills and in-depth understanding of the events industry. You will have strong oral and written communication skills and have a high degree of integrity and a high sense of personal and professional ethics. You must come from an Events background.
