Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Project Coordinator coordinates and performs Project Management duties and works collaboratively with the Project Manager and project team to ensure successful delivery of IT projects. The Project Coordinator manages or assists in developing project plans, monitors project status, and establishes priorities based on stakeholder feedback ensuring that scope, quality, deadlines and budget requirements are met; the Project Coordinator manages medium size project independently and/or support Project Manager on large projects.

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Directly reports to Project Delivery Manager and ensures that assigned project(s) are delivered and/or required coordination activities are performed in timely manner.
Coordinates and collaborates with project stakeholders and Sidra Staff to achieve project objectives aligned with Sidra Strategic vision.
Researches and innovates best practices for resource and risk optimization to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget.
Cross functional partnering with business and technical teams to identify objectives and help define and document requirements and project management documents
Coordination and/or execution of project phases and respective deliverables requirement gathering, solution architecting and design, testing functional, system and UAT testing, training and project closure activities.
Leads or participates in train-the-trainer sessions and ensuring successful knowledge transfer of new features/functionality to appropriate stakeholder teams
Performs project coordination with internal and external stakeholders for analyzing competing priorities, coordinating resources, schedules and budgets.
Develops project plans and follows up diligently with the project team to ensure successful project execution from initiation until delivery in accordance with the established conformance and performance standards.
Coordinates all project management activities and contributes to the Project Management Office process improvements.
Facilitates and prepares consistent Project Management Status reporting and analysis of project data against key process indicators to aid in the governance of the overall project management process.
Develops and ensures required project documentation is complete.
Acts as a liaison with IT and/or outside vendors as appropriate.
Works together with consultants and project sponsors to ensure business needs/requirements have been met.
Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling all project resources and efforts.
Manages solution development typically through third-party development.
Facilitates required meetings and any special events required to support the project
Creates status reports that effectively communicate project status and progress
Adheres to Sidras standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies.

In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra during this pre-operational phase, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or any related field
10+ years experience in an IT environment including at least 5+ years experience in in project management field.
Project Management Certification (PMP).
Demonstrated ability in utilizing project management methodologies, best practices and processes.
Demonstrated ability in utilizing project management methodologies, best practices and processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and outsourcing engagement.
Demonstrated knowledge of Process Capability Maturity Modeling methodologies.
Demonstrated knowledge best practice quality and process improvement methodology.
Demonstrated good communications and Interpersonal skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
