Project Coordinator

Job description / Role

Objectives:
Management of MIS of all projects; Ensure efficient utilization of all resources allocated and/or delivered to all projects; Ensure that time lines prescribed for projects and corresponding deliverables are met without delay

Main responsibilities:
- Good pro active multi-linguistic communication skills to communicate effectively with different levels stakeholders in project
- Technical knowledge to read, interpret engineering drawings and should be able to plan construction schedules
- Good knowledge on process of different level of Authority approvals and mall procedures
- Coordinates with the mall tenant coordinator and gets the necessary approvals for site works
- Facilitate in construction permits and launches construction work on site with constant follow ups
- Ensures Quality standards are implemented (site setting out documentation) and should have an eye to look on fine details
- Guides and monitors local contractor in their day-to-day work, as well as ensures safety and security standards are adhered by contractor
- He should able to ensure that contractor stick to their agreed schedule on site and should be capable of to take pro active steps to ensure to cut project lag and inform project manager
- Should able to receive quotes for minor works and takes appropriate action
- Coordinates furniture installation with Foreign installers and local contractors with clear strategy to ensure materials are on site
- Monitors storing and warehousing activities, as well as quantity take off from site for final account settlement and work in line with project administrator and logistic department
- Keep log on change request and ensure final Invoice reflect same variation as well as ensures they are settled (final settlement and defect liability period)
- Oversees compilation and effective rectification of snagging lists and handovers completed jobs to the Operations departments
- Follow up with Contractor and facility department to finalize close out documents

Gross monthly base salary: AED 10,000

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administrator or Management; Real Estate; Engineering or any related fields
- Minimum 5 years experience in project administration and/or project coordination in a retail environment

Specialist knowledge:
- Working knowledge in PERT CPM and GANT Chart
- Highly proficient in MS Office; Advance Excel; Power Point
