Project Design Engineer

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Liaise with design department/sales team/projects team to obtain clear specifications
- Support the design department and contract managers with necessary drawings from concept to handover
- Create detailed CAD drawings for manufacturing, onsite work
- Liaise with Project Manager, external/3rd party manufacturers to understand needs

Requirements

- Engineering degree, preferably in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics.
- 3 - 4 years of project design engineering experience with strong AutoCAD skills (Inventor, Solidworks is desirable but not mandatory).
- Those with experience in manufacturing, specifically food, beverage, packaging, automation industries, mechanical design, structures design, manufacturing equipment, belts, or conveyors industries are highly desirable.
- You must have mechanical aptitude, be methodical, organised and able to take initiative and problem solve.
