Project Director - Healthcare Project

Job description / Role

Saudi Networkers seeking a candidate for the position of Project Director for one of its clients healthcare Project. The selected candidate will lead project development activities as well as the oversight and coordination of all activities involved in the design, construction, and commissioning of the new Hospital.

- Coordinate the efforts for the development and management of design project timeline.
- Oversee the completion of healthcare projects master plan.
- Assist in the development and management of tendering process for the main contractor.
- Review tender submissions and comparative reports for selection and approval.
- Monitor the overall project schedule through regular status meetings with the program management office.
- Present assessments of progress, risks, and issues to the Steering Committee
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of the PMO company.
- Represent the project in all IT Project activities.
- Represent the project in medical equipment selection process.
- Responsible for scheduling and conducting Program Management meetings.
- Overseeing the pre-opening budget for the project and present an overview of budget versus actual at Steering Committee meetings.
- Coordinate the efforts for approvals and licensing of required authorities.
- Attend Steering Committee meetings.
- Represent the project in all PMO and main contractor meetings.
- Review and provide feedback on cost consulting reports.
- Facilitate the approval process for any pending issues at project.

Requirements

- This position reports to the Vice President.
- This position requires Master's in Healthcare Administration or MBA in Engineering.
- Other qualifications include:
- 10 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience in setting up and managing a hospital and/or components of a hospital.
- Experience with supervising Greenfield hospital project from design, through construction.
- To activation.
- Healthcare related project management experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, lead an internal and external team.
- Ability to lead negotiations and finalize agreements.
- Strong relationship builder and communicator with experience leading diverse work teams,
- Engaging partners, and partnering with a CEO and board of directors
- Ability to point to tangible examples of reporting program measurement and evaluation
- Passionate about healthcare project mission and able to promote and communicate the
- Philosophy, mission and values to external and internal stakeholders
- Computer skills including: MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel, MS project
- This position will be based in Jeddah, KSA.
- This position will require travel in and out of KSA accordingly.
