Project Director – LTE Network Design

Job description / Role

My client is a world class systems integrator and they require a Project Director with LTE Network Design.

The main tasks and responsibilities are:
• To manage the provision of Consultant services, control quality and quantity of work performed, guide the team and carry the overall responsibility for the task fulfilment and Consultant's activities
• To receive guidelines and instructions from client about required work.
• To supervise work results and to compare results with guidelines and planning principles,
• To ensure that results are compiled, documented and forwarded to client in required format, quantity and quality,
• To ensure timely and correct presentation and explanation of results.
• To conduct any meeting and discussion required,
• To inform client in time, and comprehensively about required modifications, deficiencies, new procedures, etc. within the scope of work,
• To analyze network and planning requirements.
• To prepare alternative proposals for problem solutions and recommend for decisions.
• To maintain time deadlines and coordinate work execution.
• To collect data and information about existing network and technical situation

Requirements

The Project Director shall have a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a university or equivalent qualification, a master's degree or higher is desired.

The Project Director shall possess an excellent command of the English language. Knowledge of the Arabic language would be an advantage.

The Project Director shall have at least 15 years previous experience in planning, design and project management of large telecommunication projects, and at least 5 years in a responsible position managing large departments. In particular reference shall be made to design of state-of-the-art Fixed and Mobile networks.
