Job description / Role
We are looking for a European Project Director to work for a Western Main Contractor on Canal extension project in the UAE
Project:
The project comprises the construction of a water canal linking the Dubai creek with the Arabian Gulf. The canal extends from Sheikh Zayed Road and will pass across Al Safa Park and Jumeirah 2 to end at Jumeriah Beach Park.
We are looking for Project Director with hands on experience on large scale

- You will direct the activities of project managers and makes sure that the project stays within budget. Also you will ensure that managers have the resources necessary to complete projects including materials, trained staff.
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of the Project Management strategy, manages the day-to-day operations of Project Management by facilitating related professional work process to ensure with the established plans and in order to achieve high performance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering preferably an MSc
- 15 Years of Experience
- Must have experience in construction of canals / waterways
- Strong management skills
- Site supervision & consulting experience
- Strong safety background
- Strong knowledge of cost management
- Must speak more than one language
- Strong construction coordination knowledge
