Our client, a newly established Saudi firm that is part of one of the largest Saudi holding group of companies globally, currently seeks to recruit a Project Director to join their firm. Reporting to the CEO, this role is responsible to drive the development and construction delivery of over USD800M of commercial projects. The group’s projects are based in Riyadh, Jeddah and Makkah with responsibilities being from conceptualisation to project handover. Arabic language skills are essential to support the Makkah projects.
Reporting to the CEO, as our client's representative, the proven performer we seek for this role will be responsible for:
• Manage the project concept through to documentation stage, construction and handover in terms of design, budget, program and quality.
• Review and monitor the performance and operations of all consulting group PMCM and head contractors as per scope of works.
• Monthly and periodic reporting on projects to the CEO and Board.
• Lead and manage the prequalification and selection of consultants and contractors.
Requirements
The key attributes for this role include:
• Degree qualification in Construction / Engineering / Architecture or comparable experience considered.
• 15+ years’ experience with at least 10 years’ experience on major commercial projects ideally hotels or residential master planned community experience.
• Must be able to drive projects for performance results and display proven leadership abilities.
• Major project experience essential (>USD100mill) desirable
